Kütahya Faculty of Applied Sciences, affiliated with Kütahya Dumlupınar University, was established under the name of the School of Applied Sciences by the Decision of the Council of Ministers No. 2005/9465 published in the Official Gazette No. 25964 dated 12.10.2005.

Later, in accordance with the decision numbered 1157 on the Establishment, Closure and Change of Names of Institutes, Faculties and Vocational Schools Affiliated to Some Higher Education Institutions, published in the Official Gazette dated 25.06.2019, it was decided to establish the Kütahya Faculty of Applied Sciences within Kütahya Dumlupınar University. In this context, our school was transformed into "Kütahya Faculty of Applied Sciences".

Our faculty has been accepting students since the 2006-2007 academic year; There are four departments: Finance and Banking Department, Accounting and Financial Management Department, Insurance and Risk Management Department and Electronic Commerce and Management Department.
